2 NIGHTS SAFARI

2 Nights /3 Days – Arusha National Park

Day 1: Arrive Arusha/ Kilimanjaro airport meet and greet and then transfer to your hotel in Arusha for overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast leave hotel in Arusha for the Arusha National Park for a full day of game drive. The park is divided in three district areas, Ngurdoto crater, Momela lakes and Mount Meru. Previously three separate game reserves, the different areas of the park allow the traveler to experience vastly differing terrain and habitats. All areas are terrific for birding.

Ngurdoto crater is the caldera of an extinct volcano. Although there is a ring road that allows fabulous views down in the lush crater interior there is no access to the interior. You may however, climb up the crater rim through the misty forest inhabited by the nimble black and white colobus monkeys that are the mascot of the park. Leopards are the main predators in this area, and strangely, there are no lions apart from the odd visitor.

Momela is a tranquil watery region with seven lakes, lying between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, where you may find the reedbuck, bushbuck and hippo. The dense wildlife population include buffalo, elephant and giraffe and yet more of the chic colobus.

 

Day 3: In the morning after breakfast you will be taken and drive around Arusha for the tour of Arusha town. In the afternoon you will have lunch and later drive to the airport for your flight.

 

2 NIGHTS SAFARI

2 Nights / 3 Days – Ngorongoro National Park

Day 1: Arrive Arusha/ Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater, with a possibility of viewing some animals on the way. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater check in the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 2: Early in the morning after breakfast leave the lodge for game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is an extinct volcano that collapsed in on itself around 25 million years ago thus forming a vast super bowl African game is on display. The central bowl, the caldera, has sides roughly 1,950 feet high and flattish center with a diameter of about ten miles. The views from the top of the crater wall are absolutely breathtaking. The crater walls are forested but four wheel drive vehicles will take you down into this primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp and plain that shelters around 20,000 animals. Many of these are the large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra who depend on the open grasslands in the crater. These attract the attendant predators, the black-maned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found within the crater tend to be the lone males who have left the herds in the forested crater rim. The game drive will end by driving you back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 3: After breakfast you will start back to Arusha where will catch your flight while game viewing on route. 

 

2 NIGHTS SAFARI

2 Nights / 3 Days – Lake Manyara National Park

Day 1: Arrive Arusha/ Kilimanjaro airport meet and greet then transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 2: Leave the lodge after breakfast for the full day game drive of Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park lies between the towering wall of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. The water of the lake with its swampy fringes, the ground water forest, the woodland and the scrub combine to provide habitat for a high density of wildlife. Waterfalls tumble from the terracotta cliffs, streams babble and the lions here climb trees to catch the breezes! In the south Manyara, near the Endabash river, you will find “Maji Moto” literally “hot water”. These hot springs bubble up to the surface heated by geothermal activity. This is also the park to visit if you love elephants – a positive plethora of pachyderm may still be found, although less than in the former years due to poaching.  After your stunning game drive of Lake Manyara National Park you will dive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 3: Today you will start driving back to Arusha for your flight with game viewing en route.

 

5 NIGHTS SAFARI
Day 1: Arrive at Arusha/ Kilimanjaro airport then transfer to your hotel in Arusha for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 2: After breakfast check out the hotel and load for the Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the game drive in Tarangire and later transfer to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 3: After breakfast leave hotel in the morning game viewing en route to Lake Manyara National Park. Here you will enjoy the game drive and later head for your lodge where you will overnight and have dinner.

 

Day 4: Leave hotel after breakfast to Ngorongoro Crater, drive down the crater for a fabulous game drive. This game drive will last for the rest of the day and later drive to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 5: Today you will drive from Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park, Serengeti is an amazing park with hundred of thousands of wildlife, beautiful landscape and geographical features. Here you will spend the whole day game viewing and later drive to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 6: After breakfast you will continue with the Serengeti game drive in the morning and later drive or fly back to Arusha for your flight.

 

9 NIGHTS SAFARI

Day 1: Arrive at Arusha / Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha for overnight.

 

Day 2: After breakfast leave hotel in Arusha for the Tarangire National Park, here you will enjoy the game drive and later you will drive to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 3: After breakfast leave the lodge in Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park. Here you will enjoy the game drive and then later drive to the lodge in Lake Manyara for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 4: After breakfast you will still continue with your game drive in Lake Manyara National Park where you will be able to see more of the park because today you have the whole day of safari. You will break in the midday for a hot lunch at the lodge and then go back to the park for more game viewing. You will later in the evening go back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 5: Leave hotel after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Crater, have a bit of game viewing and later drive to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 6: Today you have the whole day for a game drive. You will drive down the crater with 4x4 land cruiser and enjoy the magnificent scenery of a caldera which is like a five star hotel for animals. Here you will enjoy the ultimate safari experience, you will have the whole day viewing game and in the evening you will drive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 7: Today you will drive to the Serengeti National Park en route viewing game; you will certainly understand that Serengeti means the endless plains. The vast plains extend to the horizon carrying hundreds of thousands of animals. Certainly this is going to be a spectacular day. After your game drive you will drive to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 8: Today you have the whole day of game viewing; you will drive around the park and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Serengeti plains. Later in the evening you will drive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 9: Today you will view the game en route heading to the largest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria. You will be able to learn about the culture of local people living around the lake and their different economic activities with the respect to the lake. After visiting the lake you will drive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 10: After breakfast leave the lodge for the airstrip or drive back to Arusha for your flight.

 

10 NIGHTS SAFARI

Day 1: Arrive at Arusha / Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 2: After breakfast leave Arusha and drive to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, here you will have to choose either to stay on the West Kilimanjaro or South Kilimanjaro. At the West Kilimanjaro you will check in the lodge, have lunch and later leave for the game drive. In the evening go back to the lodge/ camp for dinner and later leave for the night game drive. At the South Kilimanjaro you will check in the lodge and later have a cultural tour of the local people of Marangu. Here you will be able to see and hear from our local guide about the village and village life. After the cultural tour you will drive back to the lodge for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 3: After breakfast if you choose to stay in the West Kilimanjaro, you will have a walking safari that will be accompanied by a local guide for the whole morning, later you will go back to the camp for your hot lunch. In the afternoon you will leave for another game drive after which you will drive back to the camp for overnight and dinner. For those choosing to stay in the South Kilimanjaro, after breakfast you will drive to Kilimanjaro National Park where you will experience the Mount Kilimanjaro by taking a guided day hike in the Rain forest of Kilimanjaro Mountain. After this spectacular hike you will go back to the lodge for the hot lunch. Later you will have a late afternoon free just to relax or take a leisurely walk in the village. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 4: Today you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Here you will enjoy the game drive and then later drive to the lodge in Lake Manyara for overnight and dinner.

 

Day 5: After breakfast you will still continue with your game drive in Lake Manyara National Park where you will be able to see more of the park because today you have the whole day of safari.
